Product Description

The CH-05 is an authentic Chauvet safety cable for overhead lighting. It runs 31 in long and holds up to 700 lb, giving a fixture a second point of attachment if a clamp loosens or a bolt backs out during a show. Loop it around the truss or pipe, pass it through the fixture safety hole, and clip it closed: the light stays put even when the primary mount fails. Any time a fixture hangs over people, that backup is the difference between a scare and an injury. Use it on par cans, moving heads, effect lights, and wash bars mounted to truss, pipe, or a lighting stand. Venues and event insurers often require one cable per hanging fixture, so keeping a stack of them in the case is standard practice for touring and mobile rigs.

Features

    • Backup For Every Hang

Looped through the truss and the fixture safety hole, the CH-05 catches the light if the primary clamp loosens or fails mid-show.

    • 700 lb Of Holding Power

The cable is rated to 700 lb, far more than any par can, wash bar, or moving head in a mobile rig will put on it.

    • Fits Standard Rigging

At 31 in, the cable wraps common truss tubes, pipes, and lighting stand crossbars with enough slack to clip back on itself.

    • Meets Venue Expectations

Many venues and insurers require a safety cable on every overhead fixture, so a stack in the case prevents problems at load-in.

    • Authentic Chauvet Hardware

This is the genuine Chauvet cable, built and rated for stage use rather than hardware store wire of unknown strength.
