The CLP-10 wraps completely around the truss rather than gripping one side, so a fixture stays stable even if the mount takes a bump during a show. It is made of ABS plastic, which will not scuff, scratch, or dent truss the way metal clamps can, a real consideration on rented truss or a finished install. Removable adaptors let the same clamp fit 1 in, 1.5 in, and 2 in tubes, so one part number covers the sizes you meet on the road instead of three.
