Chauvet DFI USB2 Finger-Sized Wireless D-Fi Transceiver

D-Fi USB 2 is a finger-sized wireless DMX transceiver that plugs directly into the USB port on a compatible CHAUVET DJ fixture and removes the DMX cable run between it and the rest of your rig. It draws power from the fixture itself, so there is no wall wart, no battery, and nothing extra to pack. LED indicators replaced the old dipswitches, which makes setting a channel a matter of pressing a button and reading a light instead of counting tiny switches in a dark venue. The unit is fully compatible with D-Fi XLR, so a mixed setup of USB and XLR D-Fi devices can share the same wireless channel. It transmits or receives DMX and ILS signals as well as lead/follow signals between similar fixtures, which covers both console-driven shows and simple sound-active setups. Maximum unobstructed range is 165 ft (50 m) over the 2.412 to 2.484 GHz band. The single-material plastic housing was chosen for signal transmission rather than looks, and at 0.7 oz and 3.2 in long it disappears into a gear bag pocket.
