Chauvet DJ DMX-AN2 DMX to Art-Net or Art-Net to DMX Converter Interface

DMX-AN2 is a multi-purpose Art-Net and sACN node that converts one Ethernet cable into two DMX universes, or 1024 channels. It works in both directions, functioning as an Art-Net to DMX interface or a DMX to Art-Net interface, so it fits into a network-based console rig or feeds a network from a traditional DMX desk. Both outputs can be set independently to Art-Net or sACN. Setup runs through a built-in web-based interface, which removes the usual universe and subnet configuration guesswork: connect, open the page, and set what you need. If the IP changes, the unit redirects the web page automatically instead of leaving you hunting for it. Optical and electrical isolation protects the node and everything downstream when a cable fails or a fixture develops a fault. The locking Ethernet in and thru port holds up to repeated connection cycles and stage abuse better than a standard RJ45 jack. Power runs over PoE or from the included external supply, so the node can sit at a truss position with only a network cable reaching it. Onboard LED indicators show status at a glance, and an integrated mounting bracket installs the unit in a rack, on truss, or against a wall. At 0.4 lb and 4.7 in wide, DMX-AN2 fits into tight install spaces on tours, in clubs, and in permanent venue systems.
