EZLink Par Q4BT ILS is a battery-operated quad-color RGBA LED par with Bluetooth wireless technology built in, which means a phone or tablet controls it directly with no receivers, no transmitters, and no extra hardware to buy. That combination of cable-free power and phone control is what makes it practical for uplighting a ballroom perimeter, where running power and data to a dozen positions is the slowest part of setup. Four quad-color LEDs total 6 W and produce 1,829 lux at 2 m through a 15 degree beam and 34 degree field. The amber diode in each LED fills in warm tones and natural-looking color temperatures that RGB-only fixtures cannot reach. Runtime is up to 8 hours with all colors on and up to 20 hours on a single color, which covers a full reception, and recharge takes 4 hours. ILS compatibility coordinates it with other ILS fixtures for synchronized shows across different fixture types, D-Fi USB adds wireless DMX or lead/follow control, and the IRC-6 remote handles non-DMX operation.
