FC-W

The FC-W is a wireless remote control that triggers fog output on compatible Chauvet DJ fog machines from up to 100 ft away. The handheld transmitter pairs with a receiver that plugs into the fog machine and draws power from it, so there is no extra outlet or wall wart to find at the gig. Two LED indicators on the receiver show machine state at a glance, one for heating and one for ready, so you know exactly when fog is available instead of guessing mid-set. A single FC-W transmitter can trigger up to four fog machines independently, with a separate receiver required for each additional unit. That lets a mobile DJ place foggers on opposite sides of a dance floor, or a band put fog at the front of the stage and behind the drum riser, then fire each one on cue. The receiver has a magnetized back plate that sticks to truss, a road case, or the fogger housing itself, and the 1 ft cable keeps the connection tidy. The transmitter comes with a removable keychain so it travels in a pocket instead of getting lost at the bottom of a gear bag. It runs at 433 MHz and weighs 0.2 lb.
