GigBAR Flex is a 3-in-1 pack-and-go lighting system: a pair of LED derbies, a pair of quad-color RGB+UV pars, and strobes, all pre-mounted on a single bar. Four individually adjustable heads let you cover a wide room from one position, aiming pars at a dance floor while derbies throw across a back wall. That adjustability is what separates it from a fixed bar in an odd-shaped room. The UV in the pars adds blacklight response, lighting up white shirts and fluorescent decor for a reaction plain RGB cannot get. A pass-through mounting hole fits various stage and speaker stands, and adjustable leg brackets give you options when there is no stand at all. Control is built for one-person operation. The wireless footswitch handles hands-free changes while you are mixing, the included IRC-6 remote covers the built-in functions, and automated and sound-activated programs run the room when you are busy. Multiple units can be linked under a single IRC-6 or footswitch. DMX runs on 3, 8, or 20 channels through 3-pin XLR. Power linking supports 12 units at 120 V, which is a lot of coverage on one circuit. The whole system weighs 11 lb, measures 37 x 4 x 15 in, and packs into the included carry bag.
