Intimidator Scan 110 [Open Box]

The Chauvet Intimidator Scan 110 is an extremely compact and lightweight LED scanner built for mobile DJs and small venues that need fast, precise beam movement without a bulky moving head. Built-in movement macros and move-in-black features cut down on programming time, letting an operator get a scanner running quickly instead of building a cue from scratch. Sound-activated programs let the fixture dance to the beat automatically, so it works as a set-and-forget effect at a party where nobody wants to run a full lighting console. For gigs without a DMX rig, the optional IRC-6 remote gives wireless, non-DMX control over the same movement patterns. Multiple Scan 110 units can be power linked together, saving the time and cable runs that come with plugging each fixture into a separate outlet. At 4.6 lb and sized to fit the CHS-40 VIP gear bag, it packs easily alongside other mobile DJ gear and sets up in minutes. Its 10-watt LED source is rated for 50,000 hours of life, and 8 patterns plus an open setting give a decent range of gobo looks for a fixture this size. For a DJ who wants a scanning beam effect on the dance floor without the weight, cost, or setup time of a larger moving head, the Scan 110 is built for exactly that role.
