Intimidator Spot 375Z X is the largest of the compact Intimidator movers, built around a 200 W cool white LED that produces 7,161 lumens for large events where a 75 W or 100 W fixture would wash out. Motorized zoom ranges from 10 to 23 degrees, so you can go from a tight aerial beam to a wide gobo wash from the console mid-show rather than climbing a ladder. Motorized focus keeps patterns crisp at any throw, and dual rotating prisms, a 5-facet linear and a 6-facet round, both bi-directional at variable speeds, split the beam for wide coverage. The CTO-equipped color wheel carries seven colors plus white with split colors and continuous scroll, and seven gobos, six metal and one glass, are rotating, indexing, and interchangeable. Pan and tilt cover 540 by 270 degrees, with a new home position that eliminates full head rotation at the start of a look. Totem mode keeps beams on the floor, and one scene can be set, saved, and recalled from the full-color LCD display. Run it over 9 or 15 DMX channels on 3-pin XLR, or use the built-in RF receiver with the optional RFC or RFC-XL remotes, which work without aiming at the unit.
