The Chauvet DJ OBEY40 pairs a universal, rack-mountable DMX-512 controller with two 10 foot Rockville DMX cables, so you have the control surface and the cabling to link it to your first two fixtures without a separate cable order. The controller runs up to 12 intelligent lights at up to 16 channels each for 192 total DMX channels, organized into 30 banks of 8 scenes and 6 sets of chases holding up to 240 scenes. Reversible sliders and reassignable channels let the same physical controls run different fixture types as your rig changes, and sequential chase linking keeps programs running back to back through a set. Fog and strobe buttons, beat activation, tap-sync, and auto run give you several ways to keep the show moving with the music, and MIDI compatibility lets it sync with other gear in the booth. Each included cable uses nickel-plated OFC conductors and a true 120 ohm rating, so the DMX signal stays clean over the full run instead of degrading the way a mismatched cable would. Together the controller and cables cover a small club rig, a mobile DJ setup, or a house of worship stage where you need to connect a controller to two fixtures right out of the box.
