OBEY40 Universal DMX-512 Light Controller

The Chauvet DJ OBEY40 is a universal DMX-512 controller built to run a full lighting rig from one 3U rack-mounted unit. It controls up to 12 intelligent fixtures with as many as 16 channels each, giving you 192 DMX channels of control across 30 banks of 8 scenes for up to 240 total scenes. Six sets of chases hold another 240 scenes, and each step in a chase can carry its own fade and speed time, so a chase can build in complexity without extra programming. Reversible sliders and reassignable channels mean the same physical controls can run different fixture types as your rig changes from gig to gig, and sequential chase linking lets you queue programs back to back during a live show. Fog and strobe buttons sit on the front panel for quick access, and you can grab any fixture on the fly to make a manual adjustment without breaking a running chase. Beat activation, tap-sync, and auto run give you three ways to keep the show moving with the music, and MIDI compatibility lets the OBEY40 sync with other MIDI gear in the booth. A DMX polarity selector helps it play well with mixed cabling, and the rack-mount chassis keeps it at home in a touring case alongside the rest of your rig.
