Chauvet DJ SM 250 Portable DMX Snow Machine w/ Wired Timer Remote SM250

SM 250 is a high-output snow machine that produces a convincing snowfall effect for rooms of almost any size. A 1650 W heater and a 5 L tank support sustained output at 580 ml per minute, enough to cover a dance floor, a stage or a storefront entry.

Volume control is where this machine earns its place. The included wired timer remote sets output level and interval, so you can run a light drift for an hour of dinner service or open it up for a first dance. A digital display and built-in DMX on one channel over 3-pin XLR give the same control from a console when the machine is part of a programmed show.

A Hi/Low blower switch changes how far the snow travels. Low keeps the effect close for a compact space or a photo backdrop; high pushes flakes out across a larger room from a single position, which saves you from rigging a second unit.

The machine runs non-toxic, water-based snow fluid (sold separately, SJU compatible), so it clears the restrictions at venues that block solvent-based effects. A hanging bracket with mounting hardware is included for truss or overhead placement, which is where a snow effect looks best.
