This kit pairs the Stage Designer 50 48 channel DMX-512 dimming console with the Rockville ROCKFORCE 192 DMX controller, giving a production two different control surfaces for two different jobs. Stage Designer 50 handles dimming duties with 96 playback faders across 8 pages of scenes, 96,000 programmable steps, and both 3-pin and 5-pin DMX connections, plus MIDI in, out, and thru for syncing with other gear. ROCKFORCE 192 adds moving-fixture and effects control across 192 DMX channels, managing up to 12 fixtures at 16 channels each with 23 banks of 8 programmable scenes and 6 chases of 240 scenes. A built-in microphone on the ROCKFORCE 192 triggers automatic light shows to music, and programs can be copied from one fixture and reassigned to another to speed up setup changes. Running dimming through Stage Designer 50 while ROCKFORCE 192 handles moving heads, scanners, or effects fixtures separates the two jobs onto dedicated hardware instead of forcing one console to do both, which keeps programming simpler for a mixed rig. Both consoles rack mount, so the pair drops into the same road case for a complete, dual-console lighting control setup.
