Stage Designer 50 is a 48 channel DMX-512 dimming console built for anyone running theatrical or event lighting who needs full manual control without a computer-based system. Eight pages of 12 scenes each give 96 total playback faders for simultaneous cueing, backed by 96,000 programmable steps for detailed show building. Two programmable aux buttons, adjustable chase and fade times, and reassignable channels let an operator tailor the console to a specific rig rather than working around fixed defaults. Both 3-pin and 5-pin DMX connections cover a mix of fixture types on the same show, and MIDI in, out, and thru with file dump support let the console sync with other MIDI-equipped gear or back up show files. A built-in cross fader, dark button, and kill button give quick manual overrides during a live cue, and direct audio input lets the console react to music without extra hardware. Chases can run sequentially or in simultaneous playback, and any chase can be overridden on the fly if a cue needs to change mid-show. Beat activation, tap sync, and auto run round out the automatic modes. The console mounts in a 6U rack space for a permanent install, and a polarity selector keeps it compatible with a range of DMX wiring conventions already in place.
