Xpress Rack1024 Rackmount DMX Interface for ShowXpress

The Chauvet DJ Xpress Rack1024 is a rackmount DMX interface built for ShowXpress software, giving lighting operators control over two full DMX universes plus an additional ArtNet universe for three universes total from a single rack space. It stores and plays back up to 16 shows without a computer connected, running playback from the onboard buttons or the included remote, and a built-in clock and calendar can trigger scenes automatically on a schedule. Up to eight scenes can be triggered remotely through the Phoenix contacts, useful for tying lighting cues to external switches or show control systems. The unit is hot-swappable and reconnects automatically within seconds if the connection drops, so a lighting rig stays live through a cable change or restart. Both DMX and ArtNet outputs are electrically and optically isolated, protecting connected fixtures from ground loop issues and voltage spikes. It runs on both Windows and Mac OS X systems, and connecting multiple Xpress Rack1024 units expands the total number of controllable universes for larger rigs. This makes it a fit for permanent installations, touring rigs, and venues that need scheduled lighting scenes without a laptop tethered to the rack.
