Sentinel Wash Q7Z ILS is a moving head wash with motorized zoom, which is the feature that lets one fixture handle both ends of a room. Seven quad-color RGBW LEDs totaling 140 W zoom from a 5° narrow beam at 30,537 lux @ 2 m to a 27° wide wash at 3,390 lux @ 2 m. Narrow gives you a tight aerial shaft that reads through haze from the back of a venue; wide gives you a soft color wash on a nearby wall or band. You are not choosing between a beam fixture and a wash fixture at purchase time. Quad-color mixing keeps output as one blended color rather than separate RGB shadows. Pan covers 540° and tilt covers 225°. Totem Mode holds the head pointed at the dance floor when the fixture is stand-mounted, so beams hit guests instead of the ceiling. Wireless is built in. The D-Fi transceiver sends and receives DMX or ILS with no add-on module, and ILS compatibility syncs this head with other ILS fixtures for a coordinated show with no programming. A full-color LCD display gives full-text menus for fast setup in a dark room. DMX runs 9 or 14 channels on 3-pin XLR, the optional IRC-6 remote handles cordless control, and power linking supports 6 units on a 120 V circuit with the 5 ft cord. The fixture fits the CHS-40 VIP Gear Bag for transport between gigs.
