Xpress 1024W

Xpress 1024W is the hardware bridge between ShowXpress lighting software and your rig, with Wi-Fi built into the aluminum housing. It controls two DMX universes at 1024 channels and unlocks an additional ArtNet universe for 512 more, giving you three universes total from one box. Dual-mode Wi-Fi is the practical advantage. In ST mode it joins a venue's existing network; in AP mode it creates its own, which matters in a room where you cannot get on the house Wi-Fi or there is no network at all. Either way, the free Live mobile app on Apple and Android devices lets you program and trigger scenes from a tablet while standing on the floor looking at the fixtures, instead of guessing from behind a laptop. The interface also stores and plays back one full show with no computer connected, so a bar, restaurant, or lobby install can run its lighting every night without a machine left on site. It connects to a computer wired or wirelessly and works with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Android, iOS, and Raspberry Pi. Connect multiple interfaces to control more universes as a rig grows. ESD and ground loop protection circuits guard against the electrical realities of a working venue, and the unit is hot-swappable, reconnecting automatically within seconds if it gets unplugged mid-show. Output runs on 3-pin XLR, power comes from 5 V USB, and the whole thing weighs 0.4 lb.
