Control 424LP Pair + RCS80-1 Amplifier

This bundle gives offices, retail stores, restaurants, and classrooms with shallow ceilings a complete 70V sound system in one order: a pair of JBL Control 424LP low-profile 4" coaxial ceiling speakers and the Rockville RCS80-1 60W commercial amplifier. The 424LP back can needs just 3.9 in (98 mm) above the ceiling tile, so the speakers fit under ductwork, beams, and tight drop ceilings where a standard can won't go. Each one pairs a 4" woofer with a 0.75" soft-dome tweeter, and CRBI technology spreads sound across a 130° conical pattern, cutting loud spots under each speaker and quiet gaps between them so a room often needs fewer speakers to sound full. The RCS80-1 handles music and announcements from one chassis. Stream from a phone over Bluetooth, play files from USB or SD (up to 32GB), tune the built-in FM radio, or connect two RCA AUX sources, while two mic inputs cover paging and presentations. Separate volume knobs for mics, MP3, and line inputs, plus bass and treble controls, let staff set levels and tone by hand.

Each Control 424LP has a built-in multi-tap transformer with 70V taps at 30W, 15W, 7.5W, and 3.7W. Run both at 30W to use the amp's full 60W RMS, or tap down to 15W each and leave headroom for more speakers on the same line later. 70V wiring handles long cable runs without impedance math. Terminal covers with captive hand-screws go on without tools, cables enter from the top or side, and captive dogears grip a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The speakers are listed to UL 2043 for air handling spaces, the white magnetic grilles take paint to match the ceiling, and the amplifier mounts in a rack with the included ears.
