Control 426C/T + RCS180-6

This kit pairs two JBL Control 426C/T ceiling speakers with the Rockville RCS180-6 six-zone amplifier, giving restaurants, bars, cafés, offices, and schools a complete 70V background music and paging system in one order. Each 6.5" coaxial speaker uses JBL's CRBI technology to spread sound across a 110° cone, which cuts down on loud spots under the speaker and quiet gaps between them, so fewer speakers cover more floor. The built-in multi-tap transformer offers 60, 30, 15, and 7.5 W taps at 70V, and both speakers tapped at a full 60 W total 120 W, comfortably inside the amp's recommended 150 W load.

The RCS180-6 delivers 184 W RMS at 70V or 100V and splits that power across six zones, each with its own volume knob, so a dining room, patio, and bar can run at different levels from one rack unit. Music comes in over Bluetooth, optical, USB, SD card, FM radio, or two line inputs, while three mic inputs with echo control and a chime button cover announcements, speeches, and karaoke nights. Detachable euro-block terminals make wiring simple even in a tight equipment closet, and a clipping limiter with built-in cooling protects the speakers and amp through long service hours.

Up in the ceiling, the integrated back can fits most plenum spaces and is suitable for air handling spaces per UL2043. Captive dogears grip a wide range of ceiling thicknesses, tool-free terminal covers accept cable from the top or side, and paintable full-face magnetic grilles blend into the room. Lower taps leave headroom to add more 70V speakers to open zones as your space grows.
