Crown CDi DriveCore 2|300 Commercial Power Amplifier

The Crown CDi2300 (DriveCore 2|300) is built for small and mid-size commercial installs like restaurants and retail stores that need clean amplification without a complicated setup. Crown's proprietary DriveCore technology strips out hundreds of components found in traditional amplifier designs, which cuts down on variability between units and helps the amp hold up over years of continuous use.

Each of its 2 channels drives 300W at 4 ohms and can output either 70V or 100V directly, so it powers distributed speaker lines without a step-up transformer at the output. Onboard DSP includes an 8-band input and output parametric EQ, adjustable crossover, up to 1000ms of input delay, and a LevelMAX limiter to protect speakers, and the amp comes pre-loaded with JBL speaker tunings to speed up commissioning. A front-panel interface handles full configuration on site, while a GPIO/AUX port lets a control system recall presets, mute channels, or power the amp on and off remotely.

For larger installs, the amp connects to a standard TCP/IP network and can be controlled and monitored through Harman's HiQnet Audio Architect software, giving an integrator visibility across multiple amps from one interface.
