Product Description
Outputs switch between Lo-Z and Hi-Z, so the same amplifier handles low-impedance speakers or 70V and 100V distributed lines. Pilot tone and load monitoring watch the speaker lines for faults, and source priority switching moves to a backup input when the primary signal drops, which matters for paging and announcements.
Configuration runs through a web interface from any computer or tablet on the network, with no proprietary software to install, so a technician can commission the system from a browser. The amplifier speaks HARMAN HControl natively to BSS OMNI Processors and AMX MUSE Automation Controllers, and an API is included for third-party control systems. A GPIO interface covers contact-closure functions such as mute and preset recall.
Built-in DSP handles room tuning and speaker tuning and supports custom speaker tunings. Factory JBL SpeakerTunings for select models, including Control 400 Series ceiling speakers, are preloaded.
The chassis is 1RU tall and half-rack width. Mounting hardware is included, so the unit can sit in a rack, under a table, or on a wall: useful in conference rooms, restaurants, and retail spaces where equipment closets are small or missing entirely.
Features
-
Power Where You Need It
Asymmetrical power sharing lets the channels split the full 500 W in any ratio, so one large zone and one small zone share a single amplifier.
-
Audio Over The Network
Dante inputs and outputs carry audio on standard network cabling, which cuts analog runs between the rack, the head end, and the rest of the building.
-
Browser-Based Commissioning
The web interface configures the amplifier from any computer or tablet on the network, with no proprietary software to install on a client machine.
-
Any Speaker Layout
Lo-Z and Hi-Z switchable outputs handle low-impedance speakers or 70V and 100V distributed lines, so the same model covers a boardroom and a warehouse.
-
Mounts Almost Anywhere
The 1RU, half-rack chassis and included hardware let the amplifier sit in a rack, under a table, or on a wall where closet space is short.
