XLC 21300

The Crown XLC 21300 is a two-channel cinema power amplifier that produces 1,000 W per channel at 8 ohms and 1,300 W per channel at 4 ohms, with 2,700 W bridged into 8 ohms. That range covers screen channels and subwoofers at both 8-ohm and 4-ohm loads, so one model can fill several positions in an auditorium rack.

Configuration options include dual and input Y modes on the input side and stereo or bridged mono on the output side. An HD-15 input connects the amplifier to the JBL CPi2000 cinema processor, which adds DSP, room EQ tuning, volume control, and system fault detection, and reports amplifier and load status to third-party control and theatre management systems. For a booth watching dozens of screens, that reporting turns a vague complaint into a targeted repair.

Front-panel LEDs show Power, Signal, Clip, Bridged Output, and Fault at a glance, and the Power LED indicates standby, normal operation, and default states. A rear-panel volume control sets gain once during commissioning and then stays out of the way. Forced-air cooling holds output stable through back-to-back showings.

Connections suit install work: a 6-pin Phoenix female input, an HD-15 female input, and a 4-pin barrier strip output. Input sensitivity is 1.4V at 4 ohms, voltage gain is 36 dB, signal-to-noise ratio is above 100 dB, THD stays under 0.5% from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and damping factor is above 200 at 8 ohms.

The chassis measures 14.4" x 19" x 3.5" and weighs 39.46 lb.
