XTi2002

The Crown XTi2002 is a two-channel power amplifier with advanced DSP, rated at 800 W per channel into 4 ohms, 475 W per channel into 8 ohms, and 1000 W per channel into 2 ohms, with 2000 W bridged into 4 ohms and 1600 W bridged into 8 ohms. It suits touring rigs, houses of worship, and installed systems that want processing and amplification in one chassis.

Peakx Plus limiters give full control over threshold, attack, and release, so a system tech can protect a specific speaker model instead of accepting a fixed setting. The subharmonic synth section takes low-frequency content from the input and adds a synthesized octave below it, with user control over frequency, gain, and filter type for tuning to the room.

Signal processing covers the rest of the chain: parametric input EQ with adjustable Q and ±15 dB boost or cut, high and low shelving filters, Butterworth and Linkwitz-Riley crossover slopes, parametric output EQ, and delay for time-aligning drivers. HiQnet System Architect software handles control and configuration from a computer.

Three fan modes (normal, early, and full speed) match cooling to the application, keeping a quiet install quiet and an outdoor rig cool. System monitoring reports AC line voltage and power supply temperature in software, so a marginal generator or a blocked air path shows up before it becomes a failure.

Cast-aluminum handles are integrated into the chassis for repeated load-ins, and a locking power cord clip keeps the mains connection in place on a moving stage.

The chassis measures 19" x 3.5" x 12.25" and weighs 21.5 lb, with a 15A IEC power connector.
