CREQ7B

The Crunch CREQ7B is a 7-band car audio equalizer with a 9-volt line driver, made to correct the tonal balance of a system after the amplifiers and speakers are in. Each of the seven bands adjusts from -12dB to +12dB, so you can pull down cabin boom, lift buried vocals, or open up the top end with far more precision than a head unit's bass and treble knobs allow.

The 9-volt line driver raises signal voltage on the way to your amplifiers. Higher input voltage means lower gain settings at the amp, which keeps alternator whine and background hiss out of long RCA runs.

Three stereo RCA outputs feed front, rear, and subwoofer amplifiers independently. Separate controls handle master volume, subwoofer level, and front/rear fader, and an input selector switches between main and auxiliary sources. The subwoofer output passes through a built-in 18dB per octave electronic crossover fixed at 80Hz or 120Hz, keeping low frequencies off the door speakers and on the sub where they belong.

The chassis mounts in a standard 1/2 DIN ISO opening with the included hardware, so the controls sit in the dash within the driver's reach instead of buried in a trunk. Universal fitment works in trucks, sedans, and custom builds where the factory radio stays in place. At 11 x 7 x 2.25 in and 1.6 lb, it fits most open dash pockets and console spaces.

Hands-on controls make retuning quick whenever you swap speakers, change an enclosure, or move between music with very different mixes.
