CRW12D4

The Crunch CRW12D4 is a 12-inch car subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils, rated at 400W RMS and 800W peak. Two coils open up wiring options: series for an 8-ohm load, parallel for 2 ohms, or one coil per channel. That flexibility lets the sub match the amplifier you already own instead of the other way around.

A pressure-treated foam surround and poly cotton spider keep cone motion linear at high excursion, holding distortion down when the bass gets heavy. The 2-inch voice coil sits on a vented aluminum former that pulls heat away from the windings, and the heavy gauge powder-coated stamped steel basket vents from the back so cool air moves across the motor. Less heat means steady power handling through long, loud sessions instead of thermal fade after a few songs.

Enclosure choice stays open. Crunch calls for 1.1 to 1.6 cubic feet sealed when you want tight, accurate bass in a daily driver, or 1.6 to 2.0 cubic feet vented when output on the low notes matters more. Sensitivity is 86dB at 1 watt/1 meter.

Mounting numbers are simple: a 10.94 in cut-out, 12.25 in outside diameter, and 5.61 in mounting depth, which fits most prefab 12-inch boxes and common custom builds. Spade terminals take standard connectors for a quick hookup.

Finished in black on a powder-coated frame, the CRW12D4 suits a first subwoofer install in a sedan trunk, a behind-the-seat truck box, or a second sub added alongside one you already run.
