DR-1325.1

The Crunch DR-1325.1 is a mono subwoofer amplifier from the V-Drive series, rated at 1325W max power. It puts out 1 x 650W at 4 ohms and 1 x 1325W at 2 ohms, which lines up with a single dual voice coil sub or a pair of 4-ohm subs wired in parallel.

Class A/B topology is the reason to pick this one over the Class D models in the line. The circuit runs a high sound quality signal path with minimal distortion, and paired with Crunch SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices it stays clean at the top of its range. THD sits under 0.5% with signal to noise above 100dB, and frequency response spans 10Hz to 300Hz for subwoofer duty.

Tuning happens on the amp and from the driver seat. A variable low-pass crossover sweeps 40Hz to 300Hz at 12dB per octave, a subsonic filter runs 10Hz to 40Hz to keep the sub from pushing frequencies it cannot reproduce, and bass boost adds 0 to 12dB. The included wired bass remote mounts anywhere in the cabin so you can pull bass back for a podcast and bring it up again for music without reaching under a seat.

The built-in LED VU meter is more than a light show. Switch the logo to VU mode and it tracks audio level, which makes setting gain by eye far quicker. Full red, VU mode, and off are all selectable. A Pulse Width Modulated power supply keeps the load on the vehicle electrical system low, QTD aluminum heat sinking holds temperatures down, and external 60A fusing protects the run. At 8 x 5.83 x 2.2 in and 3.08 lb, it fits under a seat or behind a panel.
