DR-2725.1D

The Crunch DR-2725.1D is a mono Class D subwoofer amplifier rated at 2725W max power, delivering 1 x 1360W at 4 ohms and 1 x 2725W at 2 ohms. This is the amp for a pair of subwoofers wired to 2 ohms, or a single high-power sub that needs more than a mid-tier mono amp can give it.

Class D circuitry with SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices keeps the chassis at 8.43 x 5.83 x 2.2 in and 3.5 lb despite the output rating. QTD aluminum heat sinking adds mass to pull heat away, and a Pulse Width Modulated power supply keeps demand on the charging system manageable at sustained volume.

A variable 12dB per octave low-pass crossover sweeps 40Hz to 300Hz, and a 10Hz to 40Hz subsonic filter keeps the woofer from wasting excursion on frequencies below what the enclosure can support, which matters more as power goes up. Bass boost adds 0 to 12dB, and the included wired bass remote puts level control in the cabin.

The LED VU meter in the logo tracks audio level in VU mode for setting gain, runs constant red, or switches off. Signal to noise is above 100dB with THD under 0.5% across a 10Hz to 300Hz response. Nickel-plated brass screw-down terminals take 4 AWG power and ground plus 8 GA speaker wire, LED diagnostics flag overload and short conditions, and external 100A fusing protects the install.
