DR-3725.1D

The Crunch DR-3725.1D is the largest mono amplifier in the V-Drive series, rated at 3725W max power and stable down to 1 ohm. Output runs 1 x 930W at 4 ohms, 1 x 1860W at 2 ohms, and 1 x 3725W at 1 ohm, which is what multiple subwoofers or a single competition-style driver need to work properly.

One-ohm stability is the reason to choose this amp. Wiring two dual voice coil subs to a 1-ohm final load is common in bigger builds, and most amplifiers either go into protection or cook themselves trying. Class D circuitry with SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices keeps efficiency high at that load, and the QTD aluminum heat sink carries extra mass to move heat away during sustained output. The chassis measures 10.79 x 5.83 x 2.2 in at 4.95 lb.

A variable 12dB per octave low-pass crossover sweeps 40Hz to 300Hz, a subsonic filter runs 10Hz to 40Hz to protect excursion, and bass boost adds up to 12dB. The included wired bass remote mounts in the cabin for level control on the move.

The LED VU meter tracks audio level in VU mode for gain setting, runs constant red, or switches off. Signal to noise sits above 100dB with THD under 0.5% across 10Hz to 300Hz. Nickel-plated brass screw-down terminals accept 4 AWG power and ground with 8 GA speaker wire, and external 150A fusing protects the run. Plan the power wire and charging system accordingly.
