The Crunch GP-1500.2 Ground Pounder is a two-channel Class A/B amplifier rated at 1500W max power, delivering 2 x 325W at 4 ohms, 2 x 750W at 2 ohms, and 1 x 1500W bridged into 4 ohms. Bridged, it has enough output for a single subwoofer; in stereo, it has enough for a pair of speakers that never run out of headroom.

Stereo, bridged mono, and simultaneous stereo plus bridged mono operation give it three roles in one chassis. Many installs start with the amp bridged to a sub, then move to stereo when a component set goes in the front doors, and the wiring change is the only work involved.

RCA and high-level inputs are both on board. High-level inputs tie into factory systems without RCA outputs, and input sensitivity adjusts from 0.2V to 9V to match the source, whether that is a low-output stock radio or an aftermarket deck.

Class A/B topology with SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices keeps distortion low as output climbs, and QTD aluminum heat sinking adds mass to hold temperatures down. A variable 12dB per octave electronic crossover handles filtering, built-in bass control offers switchable 0, +6, or +12dB, and frequency response covers 10Hz to 22kHz.

Nickel-plated brass screw-down terminals accept 4 AWG power and ground with 12 AWG speaker wire, LED diagnostics report overload and short conditions on the end panel, and 25A fusing protects the run.
