GP-1500.4

The Crunch GP-1500.4 Ground Pounder is a four-channel Class A/B amplifier rated at 1500W max power, delivering 4 x 185W at 4 ohms, 4 x 375W at 2 ohms, and 2 x 750W bridged. It is the amp for a system where every speaker gets real power, or where the front stage runs full range and the rear pair bridges to a subwoofer.

Four operation modes cover four-channel stereo, dual stereo bridged, stereo plus bridged mono, and dual bridged mono. That range means the amp keeps working through a system rebuild rather than being replaced when the layout changes.

RCA and high-level inputs are both fitted. High-level inputs connect to factory head units with no preamp outputs, keeping the stock radio and its steering wheel controls in place. Input sensitivity adjusts from 0.2V to 9V for weak factory signal or a hot aftermarket source.

Class A/B topology with SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices holds distortion down at high output, and QTD aluminum heat sinking carries extra mass to keep the amp cool. Variable electronic crossovers run 12dB per octave, built-in bass control adds switchable 0, +6, or +12dB, and frequency response spans 10Hz to 22kHz.

Nickel-plated brass screw-down terminals accept 4 AWG power and ground with 12 AWG speaker wire, LED diagnostics flag overload and short conditions, and 40A fusing protects the install. The chassis measures 10.75 x 8 x 2.375 in at 7.45 lb in black and red.
