Product Description

The Crunch GP-2000.2 Ground Pounder is a two-channel Class A/B amplifier rated at 2000W max power, delivering 2 x 500W at 4 ohms and 2 x 1000W at 2 ohms. This is the highest output two-channel amp in the Ground Pounder line, aimed at dual subwoofer setups where each sub gets its own channel, or at speaker systems that need serious reserve power.

Running one subwoofer per channel is worth doing. Each driver gets an independent channel and gain, which keeps power distribution even and makes tuning a two-sub setup far more predictable than splitting a mono amp between them.

Stereo, bridged mono, and simultaneous stereo plus bridged mono operation are all supported. RCA and high-level inputs are both fitted, so the amp works behind a factory head unit with no preamp outputs, and input sensitivity adjusts from 0.2V to 9V.

Class A/B topology with SPEED-FET MOSFET output devices keeps the signal path clean at high output. QTD aluminum heat sinking carries extra mass to move heat away, which matters at this power level. Variable electronic crossovers run 12dB per octave, built-in bass control adds switchable 0, +6, or +12dB, and frequency response spans 10Hz to 22kHz.

Nickel-plated brass screw-down terminals accept 4 AWG power and ground with 12 AWG speaker wire, LED diagnostics report overload and short conditions, and 30A fusing protects the install. The chassis measures 9.5 x 8 x 2.375 in at 8.15 lb in black and red.
