Background music on a patio, in a bar, or across a restaurant dining room calls for an amplifier and speakers built for commercial 70V wiring that can also stand up to the weather outside. This kit pairs the JBL CSMA180 commercial mixer amplifier with a pair of Rockville WET-6525B 6.5" 70V wall speakers in black, so the amp and speakers arrive matched and ready to wire. The IPX55-rated speaker cabinets use waterproof plastic, rustproof aluminum grilles, and powder coated steel brackets that pass a 96-hour salt water spray test, so they hold up to rain, sun, dust, and moisture under an awning or on an exterior wall.

Each WET-6525B pairs a 6.5" polypropylene woofer with a 20mm PEI dome tweeter in a vented enclosure, giving music fuller bass while keeping vocals and announcements clear. A built-in tap switch sets each speaker at 30W, 15W, 7.5W, or 3.75W on 70V lines, and two speakers tapped at 30W still leave headroom on the CSMA180's 80W output. The 4-way swivel bracket angles each speaker up, down, left, or right to aim sound at seating areas instead of the parking lot.

The CSMA180 fits a single 1U rack space with the included rack mounting kit and runs fanless, so it stays quiet in a back office or closet. It connects directly to 70V or 100V distributed lines with no separate transformer, takes balanced mic/line and unbalanced RCA sources across four inputs, and uses priority muting to lower the music when a page goes out. Illuminated volume rings, independent bass and treble controls, and RJ45 ports for JBL CSR-V in-wall volume controls keep day-to-day adjustments simple for staff.
