CSMA240 Mixer Amplifier + 8 DCS6T Drop Ceiling Tile Speakers

This kit puts a complete background music and paging system into any office, store, or restaurant with a standard 2' x 1' drop ceiling. The JBL CSMA240 mixer amplifier takes care of sources and power, and eight Rockville DCS6T ceiling tile speakers cover the room, so the whole system arrives together instead of as a parts list you have to match up yourself.

Each DCS6T is a 6.5" speaker pre-mounted in a 2' x 1' ceiling tile with a metal grill. Lift out an existing tile, set the speaker in its place, and connect the wire to the spring-loaded terminals. A rear tap selector sets each speaker at 10W, 5W, 2.5W, or 1.5W on a 70V line (10W, 5W, or 2.5W at 100V), so a dining room can play louder than a hallway or restroom on the same circuit. The 105° dispersion pattern spreads sound across the space, and the speakers are tuned for clear speech and announcements while still sounding good with music.

The CSMA240 powers 70V and 100V lines directly through its built-in output transformer, so the speaker run needs no separate transformer. Eight inputs with euroblock mic/line and dual RCA connections let a paging mic, music player, and TV audio share one mixer, and 27V phantom power covers condenser mics. Two output channels with their own bass and treble controls let you run two zones, such as a sales floor and a back office. Voice activated ducking on channels 1 and 5 lowers the music when someone speaks, priority muting clears the way for urgent pages, and sleep mode powers the amp down after about 30 minutes without signal.
