The XS Power D4800 is a sealed 12V AGM power cell, sized as a direct BCI Group 48 replacement for many domestic, European, and Japanese vehicles, including Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, and Volkswagen. Absorbent Glass Mat construction suspends the electrolyte in fiberglass, so it mounts in almost any orientation and resists spills, moisture, and vibration on rough roads. Low internal resistance lets it deliver 950 cranking amps and 836 cold cranking amps, so the engine starts in extreme heat or deep cold. 72Ah of capacity and 132 minutes of reserve capacity leave room for accessories once the engine is running. As a primary battery it supports systems up to 2,000W; wired as a dedicated secondary battery it handles 3,000W, holding voltage steady when amplifiers pull hard on low notes. As a secondary battery it also feeds a winch, off-road lighting, or a high-output stereo without pulling down the starting battery. M6 terminal hardware is included for ring terminals and large-gauge power wire. The D4800 carries a three year warranty.
