231S Dual 31-Band Graphic Equalizer

The dbx 231S puts two full 31-band, 1/3-octave graphic equalizers in a single 1U rack space, giving you independent tone shaping for both channels of a stereo system or two separate mono feeds. Each band offers a switchable ±6 dB or ±12 dB boost/cut range so you can dial in gentle correction or aggressive shaping depending on the room or the source, and the 20mm sliders give you a clear visual read on your curve at a glance. A front-panel bypass switch lets you A/B your settings instantly, while the built-in 50Hz low-cut filter clears out unwanted rumble before it reaches your amplifiers. With ±12 dB of input gain, XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors on both input and output, and a frequency response that stretches from below 10Hz to above 50kHz, the 231S handles everything from subwoofer tuning to full-range PA work. A dynamic range over 112dB and low interchannel crosstalk keep the signal clean even when several bands are pushed hard.
