DriveRack PA2 Loudspeaker Management System

The DriveRack PA2 sits between your mixer and your amplifiers and handles everything that happens in between: room EQ, feedback suppression, crossover, compression, limiting, subharmonic synthesis, and delay. One rack space replaces a stack of separate processors and protects the loudspeakers you already paid for.

AutoEQ tunes the room. With the RTA mic listening, the PA2 sets speaker levels and room EQ in seconds instead of subjecting the audience to long stretches of pink noise. The updated AFS algorithm listens for feedback and pulls it down before it builds, without changing the tone of your system. Setup Wizards walk you through level balancing, AutoEQ, and feedback suppression step by step, and open access to built-in speaker tunings covering most major loudspeaker makers, with the library updated over time.

Processing covers a graphic EQ and an 8-band parametric EQ on the input, 8-band parametric EQs per output for speaker tunings, dbx compression and limiting, subharmonic synthesis for low-end weight, and a crossover supporting full-range, 2-way, and 3-way systems. Driver alignment delays line up cabinets within an array, and the 100 ms input delay times the front of house system to the backline on deep stages.

Ethernet control means you can adjust the entire system from an Android, iOS, Mac, or Windows device while standing out in the audience, which is where the mix actually gets judged.

Two XLR line inputs and six XLR outputs cover mains, fills, and subs. Type IV conversion delivers up to 123 dB of dynamic range with transient material. The unit weighs 5.25 lb.
