The dbx VENU360 takes everything that made the DriveRack 260 a standard in loudspeaker management and builds on it, giving you a 3-input, 6-output processor that sits between your mixer and amplifiers to optimize and protect your speakers. Its updated AutoEQ algorithm listens to your room through an RTA mic and sets speaker levels and room EQ automatically in seconds using sine sweeps, rather than subjecting an audience to a lengthy pink noise broadcast, and because AutoEQ now runs at the output stage, you can apply it independently to your front-of-house system, stage monitors, zones, or tower delays. An improved AFS feedback elimination algorithm anticipates and removes feedback before it becomes audible, without noticeably altering your tone. Updated setup wizards walk you through routing, level balancing, AutoEQ, and feedback suppression step by step, and a dedicated Monitor Wizard makes configuring stage monitors simpler. On the processing side, you get dbx compression, a 31-band graphic EQ, a 12-band parametric EQ, subharmonic synthesis, noise gating, and a flexible crossover that supports systems up to a mono 6-way configuration. You can control all of it over your local network from an Android, iOS, Mac, or Windows device, putting full access to compressor, EQ, and crossover settings in your hand instead of tying you to the rack.
