The EM16 is a 16-inch mirror ball with an integrated motor ring, the effect that has been filling dance floors since the late 1970s. Hundreds of reflective mini panels cover the surface, so a single beam of light aimed at the ball becomes hundreds of moving points across the walls, ceiling, and floor.

Sixteen inches is the size most venues settle on. It throws enough reflected light to fill a club room, a banquet hall, or a wide dance floor, and it still hangs from a standard ceiling point.

At 10 lb the ball still sits comfortably within the rating of common mirror ball motors rated for 16-inch spheres. The integrated motor ring connects the ball straight to a motor with no extra hardware.

The light you aim at it decides the result. A pinspot pointed directly at the ball produces the sharpest, most defined beams. Two pinspots on opposite sides cover the whole room instead of half of it. Color gels or a colored wash change the entire look without touching the ball itself.
