Eliminator EM20 20" Disco Mirror Ball w/ Motor Ring For Dance Floor/Events/Disco

The EM20 is a 20-inch mirror ball with an integrated motor ring, the effect that has been filling dance floors since the late 1970s. Hundreds of reflective mini panels cover the surface, so a single beam of light aimed at the ball becomes hundreds of moving points across the walls, ceiling, and floor.

At 20 inches the ball produces noticeably more coverage than a 12 or 16-inch model, filling a large dance floor, banquet hall, gymnasium, or club room. It also works as decor: unlit, a 20-inch ball still reads as a centerpiece over a floor.

Rigging deserves attention at this size. The ball weighs 19 lb, so pair it with a motor rated for 20-inch balls and a load capacity above 19 lb, and use a safety cable as a secondary attachment. The integrated motor ring connects the ball to the motor directly.

The light you aim at it decides the result. A pinspot pointed directly at the ball produces the sharpest, most defined beams. Two pinspots on opposite sides cover the whole room instead of half of it. Color gels or a colored wash change the entire look without touching the ball itself.
