The LP 12 HEX is part of the LP Lightweight Par Series, built around twelve 5W HEX LEDs. Each LED carries six colors: red, green, blue, white, amber, and ultraviolet. That range covers saturated colors, corrected whites, warm amber tones, and a 395-400nm UV output for blacklight looks, all from one fixture.

The 25-degree beam angle puts a defined pool of light on a subject rather than spilling across the room, which makes the par useful for uplighting columns and walls, keying a small stage, or washing a backdrop.

Construction is durable plastic with a metal scissor yoke, so the par hangs from truss, sits on the floor, or mounts to a wall. The housing is small enough to fit inside square truss for a truss-warming effect.

Operation covers both ends of the skill range. Sound active mode runs a lightshow with no console. Auto and primary/secondary modes link fixtures together. DMX gives 4 or 8 selectable channels with 0-100% dimming and variable strobe. A 4-button function menu with an LED display handles setup.

Connections are 3-pin DMX in/out plus IEC in/out to daisy chain power for up to 8 units at 120V. Power consumption is 54W max on 100-240V.
