Eliminator American DJ MBDMX-PLUS Mirror Ball Motor for Up To 20" Mirror Balls

The MBDMX-PLUS is a mirror ball motor with DMX control, which changes what a mirror ball can do. Instead of one fixed rotation speed, two DMX channels give you variable motor speed and direction on channel two, and on/off control of connected lighting on channel one.

Two 3-prong Edison sockets are built into the motor, so pinspots or other fixtures aimed at the ball plug directly into the unit and switch on and off from the console. That takes a separate dimmer pack out of a simple mirror ball install.

Up to four units data link over 3-pin DMX in/out for synchronized motor rotation and universal speed across multiple balls. Running four mirror balls turning in step, or deliberately in opposite directions, produces effects a single ball cannot.

The motor supports mirror balls up to 20 inches. Circuit breaker protection replaces fuses, so a fault resets instead of stopping the show. A 1/4-inch socket and the supplied infrared cable allow on/off control with a UC IR remote (sold separately).

Power draw ranges from 10.2W at the minimum 0.5 RPM to 10.5W at the maximum 5 RPM. The unit measures 8 x 4.8 x 5.75 inches and weighs 4 lb. Indoor use only.

Nightclubs, mobile entertainers, bands, and permanent installs get console-level control over an effect that usually runs on its own schedule. Mirror ball, lighting, and UC IR remote not included.
