The MBM1RP is a mirror ball motor that turns at 1 RPM, and the slow speed is the point. At one rotation per minute, hundreds of reflected beams crawl across a room rather than sweeping past, which is the look most people picture when they think of a mirror ball.

It safely supports mirror balls up to 16 inches, covering the sizes used in bars, lounges, event centers, and home installs. A 7.5-inch chain connects the ball to the motor and can be adjusted depending on how close you want the ball hanging below the motor housing.

The MBM1RP is ETL approved for electrical safety, which gives installers and event producers peace of mind on a permanent install. Its compact size and weight, plus three mounting holes in the housing, make it straightforward to fix to a ceiling, joist, or truss plate. The unit measures 4.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 inches and weighs 1 lb, so it disappears against a ceiling.

Pair it with a pinspot or narrow beam fixture aimed at the ball for the sharpest effect. Lighting fixture sold separately. Indoor use only.
