Quantum HD 2

The Fender Quantum HD 2 is a 20-in / 24-out USB-C recording interface for project studios that track more than one source at a time. MAX-HD mic preamps supply +75 dB of gain, enough headroom for quiet ribbon microphones and loud drum overheads alike, and 32-bit / 192 kHz converters hold detail across the full dynamic range.

Front-facing Fender instrument inputs take guitars and basses directly, keeping tone natural without a separate DI box. Auto Gain sets input levels for you, so a session opens with a usable take instead of a long soundcheck. Re-amp outputs send recorded tracks back out through amps and pedals, which keeps tone decisions open after the performance is already captured.

I/O expands with 16 ADAT channels and S/PDIF, so extra preamps or converters slot in as the studio grows. The DSP monitor mixer builds independent headphone mixes at near-zero latency, and loopback routes computer audio back into the recording path for streams, remote podcast guests, and screen captures.

Preamp gain, phantom power, and routing are all controlled from Fender Studio Pro or the Universal Control app on desktop, tablet, or phone, so adjustments happen from the live room instead of behind the rack. A Fender Studio Pro perpetual license is included.

At 7.5" wide, 1.9" tall, and 2.9 lb, the HD 2 sits on a desk, mounts on a rack shelf, or travels for location work. It fits a home studio tracking full-band sessions, a producer running outboard gear, or a creator handling music and streaming from the same setup.
