Clarett+ 2Pre

Clarett+ 2Pre is a two-preamp USB-C audio interface for Mac and PC, built for tracking vocals, guitars and keys at up to 24-bit/192 kHz. Two Clarett+ mic preamps give you a 57 dB gain range, 118 dB of dynamic range and -129 dBu EIN noise, so quiet acoustic sources stay clean and loud sources stay clear. Switchable All-Analogue Air raises input impedance to 2.2 kOhm and adds a cumulative 4 dB high-frequency shelf, the same idea behind the Focusrite ISA 110, for vocals that sit forward in a mix. Two JFET Hi-Z inputs copy the front end of a guitar amp, so pickups keep their natural character when you record direct. Independent A-D and D-A converters keep capture and playback honest: 118 dB of dynamic range on the way in, 124 dB on the line outputs, and THD+N down to -110 dB. The headphone output holds a flat response at any listening level with any pair of headphones, so late-night decisions still translate the next morning. An ADAT optical input adds eight channels, taking the 2Pre to a ten-input rig when you add an eight-channel preamp for drum kit or live room sessions. It runs on USB-C bus power from a 15 W port, or from the included supply when your laptop cannot deliver it. Focusrite Control handles routing, monitor mixes and settings from a computer or iOS device, and a bundled software collection covers writing, recording and mixing.
