Scarlett 18i20 4th Gen

Scarlett 18i20 is an 18-in/20-out USB-C audio interface built as the hub of a full project studio. Eight 4th Generation preamps carry 69 dB of gain, enough to mic a whole drum kit or a live room and keep every channel clean, and eight line inputs plus two Hi-Z inputs keep outboard gear and guitars connected. Conversion uses the same 24-bit/192 kHz design as Focusrite's RedNet range, with 122 dB of dynamic range for accurate results from a quiet room tone to a loud snare. Air mode brings console-style presence or harmonic colour to vocals and acoustic sources. Auto Gain sets usable levels across eight mics in seconds, and Clip Safe checks levels up to 96,000 times a second, trimming gain before a peak clips. A built-in talkback mic keeps the control room and live room talking, A/B speaker switching lets you reference a mix on a second monitor pair, and eight channels of LED bar metering plus main output metering show what is happening without looking at a screen. Two custom headphone amps run high-impedance headphones for separate engineer and artist mixes. Two ADAT ports, S/PDIF, MIDI in and out and Word Clock cover expansion and sync with outboard converters and hardware. Focusrite Control 2 runs routing and monitor mixes from a desktop app or an iOS or Android phone. Mains powered through the included IEC cable.
