CDX-2250i

The CDX-2250i puts two independent CD decks and a USB input into a rack mount chassis built for DJ rigs and fixed installs. Each deck plays audio CDs, CD-Rs, and MP3-CDs, and the USB input reads USB storage devices, so your library can travel on disc, on a USB stick, or both. Beatmatching runs through variable pitch control with selectable 4, 8, and 12 percent ranges, plus pitch bend up to 16 percent from the rubber jog wheels or the dedicated buttons. Two jog modes, Search and Pitch Bend, let you scan a track frame by frame or nudge it back into time. One loop per side with Reloop stretches a break, and instant-start with cue preview keeps the next track ready to go. A large blue-backlit LCD offers three time display modes, and the +10 track button moves through long discs quickly. An anti-shock system using RAM buffer memory protects playback from vibration in a busy booth or a moving vehicle. Each deck is fully programmable with a built-in repeat function, and single or continuous play modes suit a bar or restaurant that needs a playlist to run unattended once it starts. The unit measures 18.98 inches long by 8.27 inches wide and occupies 2U per deck, 4U in total, so it slides into a road case or a permanent equipment rack without taking over the space.
