GEM-05USB

The GEM-05USB is a compact analog mixer that handles routing for small studios, stages, and podcast tables. Five input channels take a mix of sources through one XLR input, five 1/4-inch inputs, and a stereo RCA pair, so a microphone, a keyboard, and a playback device sit in the same mix. Channel 1 carries a mic preamp with +48V phantom power and high/low EQ, which covers condenser microphones without a separate interface. An onboard delay adds adjustable echo, useful for karaoke vocals or a singer who wants a little space on the voice. Playback arrives two ways: Bluetooth streaming from a phone or tablet, and a USB port that reads MP3 and WAV files from a USB stick, so break music needs no extra device on the table. Outputs include two 1/4-inch jacks and a stereo RCA pair for feeding powered speakers or a recorder, plus a 1/4-inch headphone output with its own volume knob for monitoring. LED indicators cover power, +48V, and a output meter with clip warning, so you can see when a channel is pushing too hard before the room hears it. The chassis measures 7.09 by 9.06 inches and weighs 2 lb, small enough for a crowded desk or a tight sound booth, and power connects through a screw-on aviation style plug that stays put when cables get tugged.
