MDJ-600 Tabletop USB/CD Media Player DJ MIDI Controller

The Gemini MDJ-600 is a standalone tabletop CD/USB media player and DJ MIDI controller built to let you DJ from virtually any digital audio source without a laptop running the show. A 4.3 inch color screen shows a moving waveform along with track title, time, BPM, and pitch, so you always know where you are in a track at a glance. The 5 inch high-resolution touch platter supports reverse play, vinyl, and stutter cue modes, and four programmable hot cues plus eight auto loops with manual and BPM-based looping give you room to build and break down a set on the fly. Loop roll adds stutter-style edits with a single button press, and slip mode lets you scratch or trigger hot cues without knocking the track out of time. A 100mm pitch fader with an adjustable range from 4 to 100 percent gives fine control over tempo matching. Switch the MDJ-600 into MIDI mode and it becomes a full platter controller for Virtual DJ and similar software, complete with on-screen deck info and a 24-bit/192kHz onboard soundcard. It plays MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF files from USB in addition to standard CD formats, covering most digital libraries without conversion. Compact at 11.42 by 8.67 by 4.38 inches, it fits a bedroom setup, a mobile DJ case, or a small booth just as easily.
