Hifonics BXIPRO1.5 Digital Bass Enhancement Processor

The Hifonics BXIPRO1.5 is a digital bass enhancement processor that restores low-frequency content lost in compressed source material and factory audio systems, then sends a corrected signal to a subwoofer amplifier. It installs between the source unit and the amplifier, so it works with an aftermarket head unit or an OEM radio that has no subwoofer output of its own.

The chassis is compact enough to mount inside the dash, under a seat, or alongside an amplifier, and the included hardware supports multiple mounting positions. Tiffany style differential inputs reject noise picked up along the signal path, which matters in vehicles where interconnects have to run near power wiring.

An adjustable remote brings bass level control to the seat, so the amount of low end can change with the track or with passengers in the car without reaching the amplifier. The processor integrates with any vehicle running an upgraded subwoofer system, and it replaces the earlier BXiPRO1.0 in the BXiPro line.

At 10in x 9in x 2.25in and 1.6 lb, it adds real bass control to a system without taking up the space of another amplifier. Warranty is one year, and the unit fits universal vehicle applications.
