Product Description

The Hosa HSS-020 carries balanced audio between 1/4 in TRS jacks across 20 ft, with nickel-plated REAN plugs at both ends. REAN hardware is built for the repeated insertion cycles of live work, and the nickel plating resists corrosion in humid clubs and outdoor stages.

Balanced wiring puts the signal on two conductors of opposite polarity, so noise picked up over twenty feet cancels at the input. That is what makes this length usable for console-to-amp-rack runs, front-of-house sends, and stage-side monitor feeds that would hum on an unbalanced cable.

Oxygen-Free Copper conductors keep resistance low across the full run, and an OFC spiral shield rejects EMI and RFI from dimmer packs, power distros, and wireless systems while staying flexible enough to coil quickly at teardown.
